Long-Lasting Approach For Tooth Replacement
Dental implants are perhaps the most significant dental innovation of our generation! They are designed to mimic the entire structure of our natural teeth, With the highest success rate of all tooth replacement options, implants are the best long-term solution for replacing missing teeth. When properly placed and cared for, dental implants can last a lifetime.
Same-Day Implants at K Family Dentistry
At K Family Dentistry, we offer one-stage implant procedures for added convenience! Our skilled dentists have extensive experience in implant dentistry, having successfully placed and restored hundreds of dental implants. In most cases, we can perform tooth extraction and place the implant, abutment, and temporary crown all in a single visit. This streamlined approach reduces treatment time, minimizes the number of surgical procedures, and enhances aesthetics while preserving bone structure.

However, in some instances, dental implants may not be feasible due to insufficient bone structure or chronic oral health issues. Regardless of your situation, we will discuss all available tooth replacement options to identify the best solution for your needs, budget, and lifestyle.
DENTAL IMPLANTS
K Family Dental Implants
At K Family Dentistry, we offer dental implant surgery, which is typically performed in stages over several months. However, we can sometimes provide same-day implants for added convenience! The traditional method of implant surgery consists of the following stages:
1. Implant Placement:
The dentist places the implant post into the jawbone and stitches the site closed.
2. Healing Period:
The patient undergoes a healing period during which the jawbone fuses with the implant, usually lasting three to six months.
3. Healing Cap Placement:
Once healed, the dentist makes an incision to expose the implant and places a healing cap to promote gum tissue healing.
4. Abutment Attachment:
After a few weeks, the healing cap is removed, and the abutment is attached to the implant.
5. Crown Creation:
Finally, the dentist makes an impression of your teeth and sends it to a dental lab to create your custom-made crown.
This comprehensive approach ensures a stable and natural-looking replacement for missing teeth!
